I grew up in the Middle of the United States and have lived in all four corners of the country since. I hold a degree in English Literature and Writing from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota. For now, I live in the Upper Left with my family.

I’m currently working on a middle grade fantasy series about a family of shape shifters who use their forbidden powers to save the kingdom and a young adult thriller sci-fi series about a secret spy academy up to nefarious scientific experiments.

I recently had the privilege of playing bass on my friend Jaspar Lepak’s new album, Desert Ghosts, and teaching knitting at the Nordic Knitting Conference at the National Nordic Museum!

When I’m not writing or spending time with family & friends, I love to read, knit, write and play music, and spend as much time in the mountains as I can manage. I stay sane by lifting weights, running, and playing roller derby.
