The Mother Bear Project
“The Mother Bear Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing comfort and hope to children, primarily those affected by HIV/AIDS in emerging nations, by giving them a gift of love in the form of hand-knit and crocheted bears.”
The Mother Bear Project is my favorite crafting charity. I’ve made bears dozens of bears, and attended gatherings where volunteers sewed hearts on each of the bears and packed them into boxes, ready for them to travel all over the world to their forever homes. It’s a wonderful organization.
