I grew up on the great plains of Minnesota. Since then, I’ve spent my life collecting stories and experiences from Minneapolis to London, Raleigh to New York City, Mexico City to Medellin, San Francisco to Seattle.

I write from the point of view of characters trying to find their place in a world that does not always want them for who—or what— they are and want to become.
